Few things make us lose our zen like tech trouble so check out these tips below for a smooth virtual class experience!
This ensures we have time to send you the link.
We recommend doing this as soon as you sign up for a class if you don't already have Zoom.
If you do not receive the link, please check your spam folder. If it's not there, please email us BEFORE the start of class. We cannot send you the link once class has started.
We will do our best to help you with any tech trouble before the start of class. We are not able to provide tech support once the class has begun.
We also suggest checking to make sure the volume is turned up on your device. Zoom-related audio issues can often be solved by signing out of the meeting and then back in.
Zoom frequently updates their technology so having the latest version solves most issues.
We think a little bit of yoga is better than no yoga at all.
Rolling out your mat and signing in is all that's required but check out these suggestions for bringing the peacefulness of a yoga studio into your home!
Clear enough space for your mat with some room around all 4 sides. Be aware of how much space you have so you don't crash into furniture while moving through your practice.
Light a candle or diffuse some essential oils, create mood lighting by dimming the lights, turning on string lights or throwing a scarf over a lamp shade.
Face your mat to look at your favorite part of the room, out a window or at least turn the mat away from a sink full of dirty dishes or unfolded laundry, etc.
They generally love to participate and quality time with our favorite animals is stress-relieving but if they are overshadowing your practice and you need some space, consider giving them treats and their favorite toy and lovingly locking them out of the room.
If you have yoga blocks, bolsters or other props grab them. If not, have a blanket and a pillow near your mat. They make great yoga props and a cozy savasana.
